Madero Street
On Madero street you can find a large number of shops of all kinds. From MUMEDI’s (Mexican Museum of Design) Mexican design products store, to the classic fast fashion clothing boutiques jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes, shoes and much more.
This street is a pedestrian corridor, so you can walk on it and jump from store to store without worrying about cars.

“La Ciudadela” Crafts Market
This market is one of the favorite and most traditional places to go in search of handicrafts in Mexico City.
Here you will find more than 300 stores with handicrafts and souvenirs from all over Mexico. You will surely find some valuable pieces to take back home.
For more than 40 years, in this space, artisans from different regions and cultures of the country have come together to keep alive this beautiful ancestral tradition in which they express and transmit their beliefs, their way of thinking, feeling and living.

The Shops at Downtown
The Shops area at the Downtown Mexico hotel is full of Mexican design stores that sell clothing, jewelry, art, decorative objects and crafts.
This is a great place to visit, as it is located inside a beautiful old palace. If you have time, stay and have lunch at Azul Histórico restaurant, one of the best options to eat Mexican food in a stylish setting.

Frikiplaza
Frikiplaza is an eccentric and quite fun bazaar where you can find all kinds of entertainment products from Japanese and Korean cultures.
Video games are probably the best sellers here, but there are also anime, comics, card games, collectibles, K-pop music, and doramas (South Korean drama series). Asian fashionistas here can also buy clothes and even everything they need to put together a quite impressive cosplay.

Plaza de la Tecnología
This legendary kind of market is one of the busiest places in the city to buy all sorts of computer equipment, electronic gadgets, mobile phones and gadgets.
There are almost 800 stores that are found here, so you can spend a good time walking through its small corridors to find what you are looking for. There are so many options that it’s easy to want to buy in the first place you find, but we recommend comparing prices as they can change considerably from one place to another.
